Samsung ST80 WiFi-enabled Camera & HMX-E10 Pocket Camcorder unveiled

Samsung comes up with two stunning devices: A Wi-Fi enabled camera and a Swiveling lens Camcorder.

Must have heard of WiFi enabled smartphones or say video games or even music devices. But have you ever heard of a WiFi enabled camera? Well at Samsung’s this is what they believe in doing- giving the consumers the newest in innovations’. The house of Samsung is releasing two new products in this September the ST80 – a Wi-Fi enabled digital camera – and the HMX-E10, a pocket sized HD camcorder with a swiveling lens.
Samsung ST80 Digital Camera:

Samsung ST80 is a point-and-shoot digital cam featuring Wi-Fi and the Samsung’s AllShare (DNLA) connectivity the latest in technology from Samsung. It boasts a shooting capability of 14.2 megapixel stills and it records 720p HD video at 30 frames-per-second in H.264 format. The ST80 also brings a 3x optical zoom to the desk and a 3.0-inch wide touch-screen on the back of the camera.


Because the camera has Wi-Fi connectivity, you can email your pics or upload images and videos directly to Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, and Photo Bucket from your camera’s interface. The ST80 comes with a Boingo (mobile hotspot provider) account, with more than 120,000 Wi-Fi hotspots available. In addition, using AllShare technology you can sync the ST80 to DLNA-compliant electronics, such as HDTVs and digital photo frames amazing isn’t it?

Additional features include Smart Auto scene recognition and a new Smart Crop (Still & Movie) feature which lets you crop images directly on the camera. The ST80 will be available in September 2010 for $249.99 and will be a real delight for photographer and media sharing enthusiasts.
Samsung HMX-E10 Swiveling Lens Camcorder:

We have swiveling lens camcorder to discuss- yes the HMX-E10 has swiveling lens. For those who do not understand the full utility of a swilling lens to the camcorder- a swiveling lens is a pairing of lenses such that one of the lens can move around on the other lens  allowing you to record at just about any angle imaginable, or even put yourself in the video. So now with the newest from the Samsung’s technology basket you do not need to hand the camera over to someone else to get yourself in the video you can do it with the swiveling lens in the new HMX-E10.

The HMX-E10’s 1/3.2 inch CMOS sensor captures 1920×1080 full HD resolution video (30p / H.264) as well as eight megapixel stills and saves them to a microSD card. It has a built-in USB connection, so no USB cable is needed to connect the device to a computer. Additionally the device also features a HDMI port for HD connectivity, built-in intelli-studio 2.0 software and one-touch upload to YouTube. It also includes Miniature, Vignetting, Defog, and Sketch Smart Filters for creative shooting. The camcorder will be available for $199 in September 2010 and it’ll be available in white and black versions.
