Choose The Right Makeup For Almond Shaped Eyes
Choose The Right Makeup For Almond Shaped Eyes
If you have almond shaped eyes you are very lucky. You have the nicest and easiest eye shape for makeup. This article will give you tips to emphasise them. Almond-shaped eyes are considered to be very balanced so you can experiment with different makeups.
Almond-shaped eyes are known for their angled outer corner and the “barely there” natural crease under the brow bone. Playing up almond-shaped eyes takes a few different shades to create the appearance of contrast and definition. Applying the right makeup to almond-shaped eyes can really play up the eyes and emphasize their natural shape.
Make Up Tips
* Choose a medium-toned color as a base color.
* Use a fine, straight-edge eyeshadow brush to apply shadow to the inner corner of the eye at the lash line; work your way to the outside of the eye and up to the crease of the eye. Do not apply eyeshadow above the crease of the eye.
* Choose a darker shade of eyeshadow (two to four shades darker than the base color).
* Start at the inner corner and blend the darker shade into the base shade right on the crease of the eye as you move to the outer corner of the eye.
* Continue blending and slightly pull the brush upwards as you reach the outer corner (think of it as a tail). This will make the almond shape more noticeable.
* Select a light shade (pale colors work fine).
* Brush through the eyeshadow on the crease, starting from the inner corner to blend it. Work your way up toward the brow bone. Brush the shadow up to the arch and slowly work your way back toward the outer eyelid crease.
Warnings
Do not use cosmetics that belong to others or share cosmetics. This can spread eye infections and bring bacteria to your eyes. Clean your makeup brushes in boiling water once every three weeks. Replace your eye makeup every two months to avoid bacteria buildup.

Badeschiff, the Floating Swimming Pool in Berlin
The Badeschiff is one of Berlin’s most unusual attraction - a floating public swimming pool in the East Harbour section of the River Spree. The Badeschiff allows citizens to swim in a safe and sanitary environment in their river, at least in a figurative sense. The Spree itself is far too polluted to permit safe bathing.
Since its opening in 2004, it has become a true hot spot in town: deep blue swimming pool, wooden boardwalks, an open-air bar, with a stunning view. Each year between November and March the entire area is covered by a translucent shell and transformed into an enclosed wellness area. The Badeschiff was created by local artist, Susanne Lorenz, as an art project organized by the City Art Project Society of Berlin. The pool was converted from the hull of a vessel measuring eight by thirty-two metres.

At this week's Los Angeles Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz announced that performance division AMG, and Italian motorcycle maker Ducati will develop common marketing activities in the near future. Mercedes-AMG CEO Ola Källenius and Ducati CEO Gabriele del Torchio signed the agreement during a press conference held at the LA Show.
According to the deal, AMG will be the Ducati MotoGP Team's Official Car Partner in the 2011 championship and, in return, during various events held by the Germans, participants will also have the opportunity to test Ducati motorcycles and vice versa.
AMG plans these events for its Private Lounge members, numbering more than 13,000 customers worldwide. The two companies noted that other activities and strategic steps are also under consideration, but didn't disclose any further information yet.
"I am very pleased that we are able to announce our strategic cooperation with Ducati today. AMG and Ducati ideally complement each other, as both companies share the same values: racing as the driving passion, and high performance plus exclusivity as the central brand messages of both AMG and Ducati. This long-term cooperation will help us to jointly access new customer groups", said Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
"I am especially proud to have AMG as one of our sponsors for the MotoGP Team. I am also very pleased that our joint marketing activities are well under way.
