The company NEC has already launched the tablet in Japan, at least for the time being, but also reveal something interesting for the rest of the market CES 2011 event in Las Vegas. To be precise, it will introduce the tablet NEC Dual Screen Cloud Communicator, a terminal operating system Android, two 7-inch display, 3G, Wi-Fi and GPS and is compatible with the use of a stylus as an alternative to the fingers.
NEC has not yet revealed how exactly the two screens, but it seems that the tablet is capable of running applications separate and distinct on each screen simultaneously, going to trace the concept Microsoft Courier that you can see in the opening. At the software level do not know much, not even the version of Android that will be used, but hopefully this is Honeycomb, or at least Gingerbread.
The company will also show a single-screen version of the tablet with a camera, as well as a netbook with Android operating system. It will be rather curious to discover the design of the dual-screen tablet, to understand how to handle two displays on a device that should be easy to use and transport, and not too thick and heavy.
