Mohammad Aamer has made the world record of bowling a five-wicket maiden over. The left-arm fast bowler achieved the feat in the final over against Australia in the ICC World Twenty20 at Saint Lucia here Sunday.
Mohammad Aamer first got rid of the Australian wicket keeper Brad Haddin before cleaning Mitchell Johnson all ends up then Mike Hussey got run out trying to steal a bye as Kamran Akmal hit a bull's eye. The same act was repeated the very next ball, when Smith tried to run a bye, Kamran Akmal once again put his act together. And last but not the least, after bowling a dot ball, Aamer finally got rid of Dirk Nannes on the final delivery of the innings.
Mohammad Aamer ended up with figures of 3/23 from his four overs.
